classes at all levels to enable our students to achieve the highest
academic results in Persian language and literature.
Pre School
An introduction to Farsi through various nursery based activities.
Suitable for children aged between 5-7 years old.
Introduction to the alphabet, numbers, colours, nursery rhymes in Farsi,
drama.
Primary (Year 1 to 5)
Years 1 to 5 cover a variety of subjects incorporating teaching techniques
like pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening,
speaking, conversation, basic history, basic geography.
The
Secondary level is an intermediate stage of competency working towards
achieving GCSE in Language and Literature.
We work on different subjects like:
Language, Literature,
Geography, History, General Knowledge.
Students at this level are preparing to sit for
their GCSE examinations. Their fluency in Farsi is explored and extended
by encouraging group discussions and written projects of the following
subjects. Our students are supported by the various resources that the
school has to offer. Reading, writing, listening, speaking.
AS / 'A' LEVEL
The Persian 'A' Level course consists of two years study.
AS
Level The Advance Subsidiary (AS Level) is assessed at a
standard appropriate for candidates who have completed the first year of
study of a two year 'A' level course, i.e. between GCSE and 'A' Level.
'A'
Level
The progression through Advance Subsidiary and 'A' Level is
assured by having a distinct unit at each level, by having a different
topic and grammatical basis to the study, and by increased difficulty in
texts and tasks set for the full 'A' Level examination.
